At the annual London Coffee Festival in April, roasters, baristas and cafe owners were invited to our Sanremo stand to be the first to sling shots from the D8, the newest addition to our portfolio of professional espresso machines.
Fusing cutting-edge technology and distinctive Sanremo design, the D8 is tailored for the dynamic needs of roasters and baristas, and promises ease of use and consistent quality in every cup thanks to their brand new single-boiler configuration giving more control than ever before.
Those who experienced the entry-level machine at London Coffee Festival were delighted to find the D8 building on the reliability and heritage of hero Sanremo machines Opera and Café Racer, but with the features of a stainless-steel single boiler, adjustable temperature units (88-98°) for each grouphead and intuitive control panel.
The meticulous and energy-efficient machine is built to last in the busiest of environments and provides a future-proofed investment due to its easy accessibility for maintenance and its compatibility with the new Sanremo IoT telemetry platform for performance and maintenance analysis.
The versatility of the D8 isn’t just reserved for functionality, however, as its slick design has been carefully crafted to suit any style of interior decor. The professional coffee machine can be customised to reflect specific brand styles and includes colours: Total Black, Total White, Copper Gold and Champagne to name a few.
National Account Manager Clive Danby was on the stand at London Coffee Festival, where he showcased the D8 to industry players as well as discerning domestic coffee fans. Describing the response, Clive said: ‘With 25 years in the coffee industry I have never seen such an overwhelmingly positive reaction from so many people about a single machine. I made sure to speak to every roaster who had the opportunity of using a D8 and responses ranged from “love the look” to “so easy to use” to “we will be ordering one of these”. The D8’s ease of use, low-profile look and simple interface with game changing internals will make it a bestseller.
