The main difference between the CUBE A and the R is the pump type installed in the machine. The CUBE A has vibrational pump which enables the machine to become a cheaper option but, does sometimes fluctuate with water pressure. The CUBE R contains a rotary pump which stays very consistent with water pressure achieving a consistent 9-bar when pressing through coffee pucks.

The CUBE R also has shot timers fixed to the front of the machine to allow the user to monitor their extraction time.
