There can be a number of reasons why your espresso machine is leaking.

First we need to establish if the leaking water is clear or dirty.

If the water is clear we advise calling an approved Sanremo engineer.

If the water is dirty the most common issue is a blocked waste box. To resolve this follow the steps below:

1. Remove the drip tray.
2. This will reveal the waste box. Assess the waste box and see if it looks blocked.
3. If it is, you should remove the cap and diffuser screen, then clear out the blockage with your hands.
4. Removin gthe blockage should resolve the issue and stop dirty water leaking from the machine.
