Occasionally you’ll need to adjust the pressure of your Sanremo Espresso Machine while using an external pump. Watch our video guide for full details.
To adjust the pressure of an external pump:
- Insert a portafilter full of coffee into your Sanremo espresso machine and press the continuous dose button
- While the machine is dosing turn the adjustment screw on the external pump clockwise to increase the pressure and anti-clockwise to decrease the pump pressure. You may need to loosen the black lock nut before you can adjust the screw.
- When you’ve hit the desired dose pressure, stop the shot and tighten the black lock nut to set.
- Now you need to check the pressure is correct. To do this pull another shot of coffee and check the readings are as expected.
